BANNER:

The Banner EZ-GUARD is a self-contained optical safety system conveniently designed for both long- and short-range access- and perimeter-guarding applications with ranges available from 0.8 m (2.6') to 70 m (230'). It incorporates an economical "two-piece" design solution that requires only an emitter and receiver pair for operation. The EZ-GUARD system features a wide variety of advantages in system performance: Diverse-redundant and self-checking design qualifies as a type-4 device per IEC 6149.

IDEC:

The IDEC MicroSmart is the next generation of programmable logic controller, available in CPU modules with 10, 16 or 24 I/O terminals. Each MicroSmart module is equipped with a standard power supply circuit, four high-speed counters, an RS-232C port and an analog potentiometer. The housing is extremely compact and the 24 I/O CPU module can be expanded up to 88 I/O points.

BANNER:

Banner introduces the D10 advanced fiber optic amplifier for use with plastic fibers. The unit offers high-performance, low-contrast sensing with automatic TEACH options. The D10 has easy-to-set static, dynamic, and single-point programming plus manual adjust capability for fine tuning. The Four-digit TEACH display and signal strength readout, plus operating status indicators make the D10 an excellent choice for many applications. The sensor offers a visible red or visible green sensing beam. Models are available with either dual discrete outputs (NPN or PNP) or one discrete and one analog (voltage or current) sourcing.

TURCK:

TURCK Inc. has announced a complete new line of fully programmable pressure sensors-reliable, solid state devices available with a variety of options to solve every pressure analysis application. The robust devices operate on the piezoresistive principle, and have no moving mechanical parts to wear out. Capable of measuring in either bar or psi units, the new sensors are ideal for monitoring pressure in applications such as automotive welding, hydraulic clamping systems, machine coolant, pump run dry, vacuum for pick and place systems, and other precision pressure analysis applications.
